adobe products should work fine on mac. but if you're considering getting an art program I suggest you look into cheaper alternatives, as adobe is very expensive.

I have Paintbrush and SketchBookExpress for my work, but I was thinking of getting a better one. Besides, a lot of the good arts come from Photoshop...

Photoshop doesn't make your art better. Practice does.

Programs are like pencils, doesn't matter how nice or how expensive your pencil is, it wont improve your art. Only you can.
Learn to use what you have before you get more expensive products.
And study, get how to draw books, any will do. Look up art tutorials on DeviantART, there's thousands of them.

If you're considering doing digital art then, if you don't already have one, consider investing instead into a drawing tablet such a wacom bamboo or graphire. Both are cheap and user-friendly.

But I cannot stress enough that getting an adobe product will not magically fix everything  and you should only get photoshop (btw is about $400+) if you plan to go into professional digital art.
Also most great art that "comes from" photoshop is because professional grade artist tend use that product. (it is industry standard so people in the industry/or plan to be in use it)

If anything look up Sai or GIMP, I believe, those are commonly used programs that work well for art and are either free or cheap.

Hmm, yeah, you're right. Thanks for that. I'll just practice very well. :)
